A fragrant biscuit, ideal to enjoy with a hot herbal
tea or fruit juice, for a light and wholesome snack or breakfast.
These biscuits are really easy to make, with olive
oil, no eggs, no sugar and a sweet apple filling... Try them now!
Ingredients:

250 g 00 flour
·
4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
·
100 ml water (or white wine)
·
1 pinch of salt
·
Cinnamon and chopped nuts to taste
For the filling: 1 jar of Extra Annurca Apple Jam
Method:
Knead all the ingredients until you get a soft,
homogeneous dough; On a lightly floured pastry board, roll out the dough and
cut out squares/rectangles. In the centre of each one, place some annurca apple
jam and chopped walnuts. Close with another piece of dough and seal the edges
well with the help of a fork.
Brush the surface of the dumplings with milk and
sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake (static oven) at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes
until golden brown.
You can use other jams or marmalades for the filling
