fusilli al forno

The great thing about Sunday is doing unusual things: sleeping late, having breakfast in bed, staying in pyjamas all day. At least once a week we have the luxury of doing things slowly.

We take care of lunch. No waking up at dawn, don't worry! With this recipe from our friend Alessandra you prepare a perfect first course for Sunday lunch without too much effort.

Ingredients
- olive oil
- onion
- mozzarella
- tomato sauce Pomodorossa
- cooked ham
- salt
- basil
- Mediterranean cream

Method
Prepare a simple tomato sauce (sautéed onion, tomato puree, basil, salt and a couple of teaspoons of Mediterranean cream).

Cook the pasta, drain well before it is al dente and dress with the sauce. In an oven dish, put a little sauce on the bottom, then make a layer of pasta, add mozzarella and cooked ham (or boiled eggs, mortadella, or other seasoning to taste), add a few teaspoons of Mediterranean cream here and there, and close with the second layer of pasta and more sauce.

Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes, static mode.

➡️ 5 minutes from the end add the mozzarella and immediately after baking add a little Mediterranean cream. On the hot pasta it will release all its fragrance and heady flavour.
